Inspect the pump shaft and drive shaft for any bends during transportation.
After installation, check that all coupling nuts and all locating feet nuts are securely tightened. When tightening the nuts on the drive shaft and pump shaft, pay attention to the thread direction.
The pump installation elevation should comply with the specifications in the product manual to meet cavitation margin and startup requirements.
4. Before each pump start-up, rotate the coupling three to four times, paying attention to any unevenness in weight. If present, the cause must be investigated and eliminated as much as possible before operation.
Before installing the pump, check if the blade installation angle meets the requirements.
6. When using check valves, install a balancing hammer to counterbalance the gravity of the door cover, making chestnut operation more economical.
7. For transmission devices lubricated with grease, the bearing oil cavity should be removed and cleaned, then refilled with new lubricant. The new lubricant should fill 1/2 to 2/3 of the oil cavity to prevent excessive bearing temperature rise during operation. Special attention should be given to ensure that rubber bearings do not come into contact with oil.
8. The water chestnut pipeline should be supported separately; it must not be supported by the water chestnut itself.
9. Before starting, check the motor's rotation direction to match that of the pump, and then connect it to the pump.
The drive shaft and pump shaft should be installed on the same vertical line, with an allowable error less than 0.03mm/m.
11. It is not advisable to install gate valves on the pump discharge piping. If present, they must be fully opened before starting up.
Prior to starting the pump, inject clean water or soap water into the short tube of the upper stuffing box to lubricate the rubber or plastic bearings. Stop once the pump operates normally.
Prior to filling the pool, a debris screen should be installed to prevent foreign matter from entering the pump. The flow rate of water through the debris screen must not exceed 0.3 m/s.
