Aircraft Intelligent Contactor's Working Mode on the Aircraft and Ground Power Vehicle
The power-on and off of a certain type of aircraft's high-power load is achieved through intelligent contactors. Jin Fei analyzes that intelligent contactors are the core components of AC primary distribution electronic systems, primarily responsible for supplying power to high-power AC equipment such as fuel pumps and slurry pumps, and they also feature status detection and fault upload capabilities. The intelligent contactor is composed of an AC contactor, a current transformer, and an AC contactor intelligent control unit. The AC contactor is used for load on/off control, the current transformer for detecting load current and three-phase unbalanced current, and the AC contactor intelligent control unit for controlling the AC contactor, overcurrent protection, ground protection, bus communication, and self-detection. The intelligent contactor has six states: normal closing, opening, self-check fault, trip protection, reset failure, and unknown.
Working Principle:
1. The AC contactor control unit, upon receiving a control command, drives the AC contactor to close, thereby achieving distribution control of the load.
2. During overcurrent in the distribution branch, the current transformer coil detects the overcurrent signal and sends it to the control unit, which then drives the AC contactor to release, thereby achieving overcurrent protection.
3. When the three-phase load imbalance current exceeds10AAt this point, the AC contactor is released by the control unit to achieve grounding protection.
