Unprocessed Binzhou Qing Stone, with an even surface color and minimal texture structure. The stone often features textures that resemble glass or mist, or a diverse composition. Natural cracks and holes are undesirable and are often criticized, especially in black stone and similar types, where every irregularity stands out.
At this stage, people need to process these Binzhou green stones. After cutting and processing, the slabs that cannot be cut from the rough blocks are cleaned, roughly ground, then heated, and coated with a very low viscosity black epoxy resin. After approximately 24 hours of curing, these slabs can be further polished. Due to the relatively long curing time of this epoxy resin, the treated color is deepened to some extent.
Binzhou Green Stone
Following the wet installation at Binzhou Qing Stone, construction workers often use acidic cleaners like acetic acid to quickly clean off the remaining cement on the surface or around the joints, or adhesive containing cement. If such maintenance is not stopped in advance or not performed at all during the project, it often leads to residual acidic cleaners on the stone surface, which can cause future stone deterioration. Therefore, in general, neutral cleaning agents are used for stone cleaning here.
