Although spiral duct materials are not exclusively stainless steel, the material quality of stainless steel spiral ducts is stronger and their application range broader. When stainless steel spiral ducts are not connected with flanges, the connection should be secure. The four corners of rectangular ducts require precise positioning and sealing measures; the duct connections should be vertical, without any displacement or distortion.
The flanges connect the two sides of the pipes, cold-rolled into ridges with one end reduced to a small mouth. During installation, insert the small mouth into the large mouth according to the direction of the whirlwind, tightly secure the ridges at both pipe ends with steel bands, and then fasten them in place using anchor bolts that pass through the lugs.
The key to the plug-in connection is to connect using rectangular or circular pipes. After the connecting pipe for the laboratory ventilation system is made, it is inserted into the pipes on both sides and securely fastened with self-tapping screws or rivets. For the rectangular pipe plug-in connection, different types of inserts are inserted into the sides of the pipe and then reinforced.
