Many businesses are unaware of the precautions when introducing explosion-proof exhaust fans, leading to issues during use and posing safety risks to production. Therefore, this issue, Shengding Inspection will explain what to be aware of when using explosion-proof exhaust fans, and clarify whether a防爆 certification is required.

Safety Precautions for Explosion-Proof Exhaust Fans
1. The casing of the fan must be made from reliable materials and undergo professional testing and certification. Generally, during the process of obtaining the explosion-proof qualification certificate, engineers will inspect it according to relevant standards.
Before commissioning, the wind turbine shaft must undergo durability tests, typically involving lubrication and simulated operation for more than 1000 hours per cycle. Maintenance of the wind turbine is prohibited during the simulated testing period to ensure the authenticity and reliability of the data collection.
3. During installation, it is necessary to first inspect for any deformation in the frame and fan blades. The installing engineer must also possess the corresponding construction qualifications, i.e., the "Ex-proof Electrical Equipment Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Certificate." Check if the fan blades rotate smoothly and if all fasteners are present.
4. The line voltage must match the rated voltage specified on the motor's nameplate.
5. Must use a small explosion-proof switch as the power switch, or install a standard switch outdoors in a location without explosion hazards.
