Many communities are now adopting colorful road surfaces, primarily for the vibrant colors they offer. When selecting the material for road surfaces, we must be meticulous, as different materials can yield varying effects and applications.
Before selecting materials, it's crucial to understand the engineering requirements, whether it's a concrete or asphalt surface, the thickness of the colored pavement, color, area, timeline, and surface load-bearing capacity. Based on these requirements, choose different materials accordingly.
2. If surface load-bearing requirements are not necessary, and the area is intended for pedestrian and bicycle traffic only, such as park greenways, bike paths, and pedestrian walkways, inorganic paving or SP paving can be used. This not only meets the customer's needs but also ensures a non-slip and aesthetically pleasing surface.
3. If heavy vehicle traffic is required on the surface, better road materials are needed for motor vehicle travel, such as on slow lanes, motorways, and high-speed deceleration zones. This calls for the use of Hongkun anti-slip colored ceramic aggregates or MMA colored road surfaces, which demand high quality, non-fading, and non-loosening aggregates to meet customer needs. For surface water permeability, colored permeable paving should be used, with different products chosen for various requirements.
Choosing the right type of colored pavement is important, but selecting the appropriate pavement material is equally crucial. Different pavement materials have varying load capacities, primarily depending on whether the surface is mainly for vehicle traffic, pedestrian walking, or requires the placement of certain items.
