Our high-speed drilling and tapping machines feature a massive span base with a six-point support structure for solid stability. These machines offer rapid positioning at 60 meters per minute, ensuring no vibration or deformation. The three-axis system allows for fast and precise positioning. With a low-inertia spindle design and direct drive, the machines provide high stability. The arm and tool magazine change tools quickly and accurately in just 1.4 seconds. Besides part processing, these machines are ideal for drilling smaller diameter holes. They utilize a high-torque AC spindle servo motor and a user-friendly conversational interface for ease of operation. Made of *Meehanite cast iron, which has been tempered to eliminate internal stresses, ensuring maximum rigidity, precision, and durability. The high-speed power change mechanism, combined with pre-sensing control and a quick change system, efficiently handles tool changes. In practical testing, tool-to-tool exchanges in CNC machining centers, computer numerical control (CNC) machines, and turning lathes have been influenced by factors such as tap material, type, the number of teeth engaged, hole shape, cutting material, and cutting oil. Therefore, careful selection is necessary. High-speed drilling and tapping machines, free from chip issues, can achieve higher tapping speeds than cutting, while also considering material being processed, cutting fluid, and machinery. Generally, speeds range from 5 to 20 meters per minute, similar to the punching process in stamping machines. In exceptional cases, speeds above 30 meters per minute can be achieved. However, high speeds can lead to early wear or adhesion, affecting tap life, so speed control is crucial.
