Electric vehicles offer convenient transportation, but they often encounter various issues. For instance, the horn may fail to work, or the headlights might not turn on. How should one handle such situations? Below, Tianjin Electric Tricycles provides a detailed introduction.
Tianjin Electric Tricycle Introduction: When issues arise with electric tricycles, do not panic. Find the right methods to address them. Meanwhile, refer to the following introduction for guidance.
How to Handle Electric Vehicle Conditions:
1. The single speaker function is not working. First, use a multimeter to test if there is current output when pressing the switch. If the current output is normal, it indicates that the power consumption hardware terminal is poorly or damaged in contact, and the wire should be reinforced or the hardware replaced. If there is no current output, it suggests that the function switch is damaged or the 12V negative wire of the speaker is disconnected or poorly connected. Replace the function switch or properly reconnect the 12V negative wire.
2. Turning on the headlights may cause other functions to malfunction or a single function to fail, but when turning off the headlights, all other functions resume normally. In such cases, we must opt for a solution where the minority follows the majority. For instance, if turning on the headlights affects multiple functions, our course of action is to establish a separate current circuit for the headlights (typically a 12V negative wire). This means we need to run a separate 12V negative wire from the battery (remember, the new 12V negative wire also requires a diode of the same type and must be paralleled, not series-connected, to the original 12V negative wire to be considered a separate power line). This resolves the issue. If only one function is affected, such as the horn, the separate current circuit should be for the horn, not the headlights. This method must be applied flexibly and not by the majority submitting to the minority.
3. Turning on the turn signal on one side may also activate the other side or another function simultaneously, or the functions may be misaligned (e.g., turning on the headlights but they don't light up, while the horn sounds). When encountering such issues, we need to check if the function wires are stuck together or if a short circuit has occurred in one of the function wires. Such problems usually occur within the function switch connector or due to misalignment of the function switch wiring. Simply opening the connector, adjusting, or replacing the function switch should resolve the issue. In cases like example 3, it's also possible that there may be misalignments in the tail light connector function wires.
