Working Principle

The concentrated liquid is pumped into the top of the heating tube, forming a liquid film that flows downward along the inner wall of the tube. During this process, due to external heating of the tube, the liquid film inside begins to boil and partially evaporate. In the lower part of the tube and in the downstream separator, the remaining liquid and steam are separated.

Properly determine the fluid flow rate inside the heat exchange tubes to prevent dry sections at the bottom, while ensuring adequate liquid film thickness, thereby achieving optimal heat exchange efficiency and minimizing energy consumption.

The falling film evaporator can perform both recirculating and single-pass evaporation.
