What is Polyurethane Spray?
Polyurethane spray technology is a high polymer formed by foaming on-site at the construction site through the use of specialized network equipment and mixing, with isocyanates and polyethers as the main raw materials, and various additives such as blowing agents, catalysts, and flame retardants. Polyurethane rigid foam is a new type of biosynthetic research material with excellent thermal insulation and waterproofing system functions, characterized by a low thermal conductivity coefficient.The thermal conductivity coefficient is between 0.022 and 0.024 W/(m²·K), which is half that of extruded polystyrene. It is the lowest among all building thermal insulation materials in China and can be used for polyurethane spray flame-retardant grades B1 and B2.
Polyurethane rigid foam is typically foamed at room temperature, its molding process is relatively simple, and in the refrigeration industry, we generally use polyurethane rigid foam spraying.
Black Matter vs. White Matter: Black matter is formally known as polyisocyanates, due to its black, thick liquid consistency.Hence, it is colloquially known as "black material." The "MD" refers to a type of polyisocyanate, which is used in the production of refrigerator polyurethane foam.
White matter is a white, viscous liquid, commonly mixed with polyether polyols and foam stabilizers as catalysts during the industrial production of refrigerator polyurethane foam.
