Product Description
A waterproof cap is a polyethylene material treated with high-energy ion radiation, shaped like a hat, formed by expanding polyethylene pipe material and coated with a layer of hot melt adhesive film. It boasts high mechanical strength, aging resistance, resistance to environmental stress cracking, and good sealing properties, with a long service life. This product is suitable for waterproofing and protection of the ends of various sizes of polyurethane foam plastic insulated pipes.

IV. Construction Method
Application Method for Non-Specific Waterproof Caps
Heat the PE insulation around 5-7cm from the circumference to about 50℃ on the surface, then brush with a fine steel brush.
Remove the insulating paper from the不定型防水帽, and fit the thermal insulation around the steel pipe along its axial direction (7cm from the end) to form the head.
3. Uniformly heat the uncured waterproof cap that is wrapped around the insulation layer, causing it to shrink evenly in all 360° directions. Stop heating when adhesive oozes out along the circumference of the insulation layer and the uncured waterproof cap is tightly shrunk onto it. Then, apply pressure with a roller to make the shrunken area adhere closely to the insulation layer.
4. Follow the above method to operate another thermal insulation pipe, bake 3-5 pipes consecutively (5 pipes are ideal in summer), then perform the shrinkage operation on the small end (i.e., the steel pipe section). Be cautious not to heat and shrink both the large and small ends simultaneously, as this may cause the large end to slip down.
