The residential gate system is a specialized equipment for controlling motor vehicle access on roadways, commonly used for vehicle in and out management at highway toll stations, parking lots, residential complexes, and corporate entrances. Electric gates can be operated independently via remote control to lift or lower the barrier arm, or they can be integrated with a parking management system (such as an IC card system) for automated access control. When a vehicle passes through the ground induction loop, an inductive signal is transmitted to the vehicle detector, which then triggers two relay signals: one for entering the loop and another for exiting. Each signal has both normally open and normally closed options. Additionally, the boom gate typically has a ground induction infrared input interface.
