When installing stainless steel bellows compensators, pay attention to the following issues. General bellows compensators are a type of compensating element. They utilize the effective伸缩 deformation of the main bellows tube to absorb size changes in pipelines, conduits, containers, etc., caused by factors such as thermal expansion and contraction, or to compensate for axial, lateral, and angular displacements of pipelines, conduits, and containers. They can also be used for noise reduction and vibration damping.
Stainless Steel Bellows Compensator Usage Requirements
During hydrostatic testing, reinforce the secondary support brackets at the ends of the compensator piping to prevent movement or rotation of the piping. For compensators and their connecting piping used with gas media, be mindful of whether temporary supports are needed during the water filling process. The 96% chloride ion content of the water cleaning solution used for hydrostatic testing should not exceed 25 PPM.
2. Strictly prohibit adjusting pipeline installation deviations by deforming the bellows compensator, as this may affect the normal function of the compensator, reduce its service life, and increase the load on the piping system, equipment, and supporting components.
3. Insulation material in contact with the compensator bellows should be free of chlorine.
4. Pay attention to aligning the direction of the inner sleeve of the compensator with the flow direction of the medium, and ensure that the hinge rotation plane of the hinge-type compensator is consistent with the displacement rotation plane.
After the pipeline system is installed, the yellow auxiliary positioning components and fasteners used for installation and transportation on the stainless steel corrugated compensator should be removed as soon as possible. Then, adjust the limiting device to the specified position as per design requirements, ensuring the pipeline system has sufficient compensating capacity under environmental conditions. YSTA Universal Corrugated Compensator Installation Requirements
All moving components of the compensator must not be jammed or restricted in their range of motion by external parts, ensuring the normal operation of each moving section.
2. Compensators requiring "cold shrink" compensation should have their auxiliary components used for pre-deformation removed only after the pipeline installation is complete.
After the hydrostatic test, the water in the wave shell should be drained as soon as possible, and the inner surface of the wave shell should be dried quickly.
4. Before installation, the stainless steel corrugated compensator should be checked for its model, specifications, and pipeline configuration, ensuring they meet design requirements.
During installation, it is strictly prohibited for welding slag to splash onto the surface of the bellows, and the bellows must not sustain any other mechanical damage.
