Installation and Usage Instructions:
1. The drainpipe should be positioned downward during installation.
2. After on-site installation, the rod must be disassembled.
3. Ensure the medium flow direction during installation matches the directional indicator on the compensator.
The Function of the Compensator:
Compensation for axial, lateral, and angular thermal deformation of the absorption pipeline
2. The bellows compensator features an adjustable伸缩量, facilitating easy installation and disassembly of valve pipelines.
3. Absorbs equipment vibration, reducing the impact of equipment vibration on pipelines.
4. Absorbs the deformation of pipelines due to earthquakes and land subsidence.
The bellows compensator is a type of compensating element. It utilizes the effective expansion and contraction deformation of its main body, the bellows, to absorb size changes in pipelines, conduits, vessels, etc., caused by thermal expansion and contraction, or to compensate for the axial, lateral, and angular displacements of pipelines, conduits, and vessels. It can also be used for noise reduction and vibration damping. In modern industry, it is widely used in pipeline compensators and heating pipelines, with two types of connections: flange and welded. It can provide noise reduction, vibration damping, and corrosion resistance, thereby extending the service life of pipelines.
Selection and Usage Precautions for Bellows Expansion Joints
The reliability of the bellows compensator is composed of multiple stages, including design, manufacturing, installation, and operational management. Reliability should be considered from these aspects as well.
In selecting materials for bellows used in heating pipeline networks, factors such as the working medium, working temperature, and external environment must be considered. Additionally, the potential for stress corrosion, the impact of water treatment agents, and pipeline cleaning agents on the material should be taken into account. Based on this, combine the welding, forming, and performance-to-cost ratio of bellows materials to optimally select cost-effective and practical bellows manufacturing materials.
3. Generally speaking, the material selected for bellows should meet the following conditions:
(1) High elasticity limit, tensile strength, and fatigue resistance ensure the normal operation of the corrugated pipe.
(2) Excellent plasticity for easy forming and processing of the corrugated tube, which can achieve sufficient hardness and strength through subsequent treatment processes such as cold working hardening and heat treatment.
(3) Excellent corrosion resistance meets the operational requirements of bellows under various environmental conditions.
(4) Excellent welding performance meets the welding process requirements for the manufacturing of the corrugated tube.
The Axial External Pressure Bellows is assembled from one or more bellows connected in series through intermediate tees. After welding to the inner and bottom plates, they are connected to the outer pipes of the conduit. The bellows feature a high number of corrugations. This compensator primarily absorbs axial displacement, boasting large compensation capacity, good insulation performance, and the ability to exclude residual media.
