Reducers are devices installed on various conveying equipment, primarily used to adjust speed and torque, enabling the conveying machinery to reach the desired state, thereby ensuring the smooth progress of all operations. When not in use, we must pay attention to the storage of the conveying equipment. Storage is a common method of mechanical maintenance, and the storage of reducer units requires particular attention to technique.
For belt conveyor reducer units stored for over sixty days, all machined surfaces such as flanges, shafts, and couplings must be coated with anti-rust products.
Do not store outdoors or in excessively damp areas.
3. Always place boards, wood, or other materials between conveyance equipment and the floor. The reducer unit must not come into direct contact with the floor.
