Radiation Shielding Doors are a type of door designed for radiation protection, and with the increasing number of personnel working in radiology, these doors have been widely adopted. Our use of radiation shielding doors can prevent radiation from entering and exiting, primarily applied in specialized areas such as radiology. However, when installing these doors, it is our responsibility to do so ourselves. So, how should we install a radiation shielding door?

Prior to manufacturing and installation, it is imperative to visit the construction site and meticulously verify the location, quantity, and dimensions of the radiation shielding doors, taking responsibility for the quantity and dimensions of the manufacturing.

2. Place the finished radiation shielding door into the doorway; however, the door panel can be removed if necessary, ensuring the door's edge fits tightly against the wall and is perpendicular. Adjust the wall's flat surface if needed.

3. Achieve vertical alignment for the side frame of the radiation protection door, ensuring the point and surface are on the same plane.

After the radiation protection door frame is in place, it should be aligned for verticality, horizontality, and diagonal lines, adjusted to the installation height as per design requirements, and be equidistant from the interior and exterior walls, with consistent width across the top and bottom of the frame.

When installing the radiation shielding door, adjust the lock position to the vertical width, ensuring the gap between the door leaf and the door frame is even and consistent, and then secure it.

Temporary bolting of door frames should be reinspected to ensure accurate installation dimensions.

After the cement slurry or foam adhesive has dried, remove the gap sheet and its pad.

When installing radiation shielding doors, we must strictly adhere to the installation sequence. However, we must also pay close attention to the following: prior to installing the door frame, on-site measurements must be taken and compared with the drawings and relevant design changes, as well as technical reviews and handovers. The opening direction must be confirmed, and the door frame installation must strictly comply with the design and relevant specifications. After completion, it is imperative to inspect the installed radiation shielding door and ensure that its operation is smooth and easy.
