Silicon steel plates are easily sheared materials, typically requiring a quick-drying oil film after shearing. To prevent burr formation on the sheared products and extend mold life, it is essential to select a stamping oil with high viscosity, short drying time, and good rust prevention without carbon formation after annealing.

Carbon Steel

Select the appropriate stamping oil viscosity based on the difficulty of processing.

Tinplate

Pressurized oil without chlorine additives prevents white rust formation.

Aluminum, Aluminum Alloys

Pressurized oil containing chlorine or sulfur additives is not permitted; ideally, use a neutral pH pressurized oil.

Stainless Steel Sheets

Processing hardening is prone to occur; therefore, it requires high oil film strength and good sintering resistance lubricants. The lubricant must have high viscosity and good cooling properties.

Copper, copper alloys

Avoid using stamping oils containing sulfur; opt for those with good oiliness and lubricity agents.
