Carbon fiber tape refers to a ribbon-like material made of carbon fiber, commonly abbreviated as carbon tape. It is used for wrapping composite materials, reinforcing composite materials by extrusion and stretching, heating elements, conductive materials, and semiconductor materials, etc.

Manufacturing primarily employs plain weaving, but due to high static electricity during the weaving process, pre-treatment with water or antistatic agents is recommended. Advanced composite materials using carbon fiber strips mainly include unidirectional carbon fiber tapes, pre-impregnated materials, and methods involve unidirectional arrangement of carbon fibers, coated with resin. There are also narrow strips cut from various unidirectional carbon fiber fabrics or plain-woven carbon fiber strips followed by resin impregnation and composite bonding. As for sealing material, carbon fiber rope is a type of belt, and carbon fiber sleeves are also considered as belts.
