Crafting embedded components → Layout marking → Installation of posts → Connecting handrails to posts → Polishing and installing栏杆 pre-embedded components can only be done using the post-installation method. For stainless steel flag poles, the method involves creating rear connection components using expansion bolts and steel plates. First, layout marking is done on the civil construction foundation, determining the position of the post anchoring points. Then, holes are drilled into the ground using an impact drill, followed by the installation of expansion bolts. Ensure the bolts are of sufficient length, and after positioning the bolts, tighten them while welding the nut and bolt together to prevent loosening of the nut and steel plate.
The connection between the handrails and the wall surfaces also adopts the aforementioned method. Errors may occur, so a re-measurement should be conducted before the pillars are installed to ensure the accuracy of the embedded plate position and the welding of the upright rods. Any discrepancies should be corrected promptly. It is essential to ensure that all the stainless steel flagpole pillars are fully seated on the steel plate, allowing for welding on all sides. Two persons are required for the job: one to hold the steel pipe vertically, preventing any movement during welding, and the other to perform the welding, ensuring that all sides are welded and adhering to welding specifications.
The pole is extended by using a string line, and notches are machined at the top according to the site's inclination angle and the roundness of the handrail. The handrail is then directly inserted into the pole's notches, and sequentially spot-welded from one end to the other, ensuring accurate alignment and tight joints between adjacent handrails. After the adjacent steel pipes are joined, the seams are welded using stainless steel welding rods.
Prior to welding, all oil, burrs, rust spots, and other impurities within a 30-50mm range along the weld seam must be thoroughly cleaned. After all welding is completed, use a portable grinding wheel to flatten and smooth the weld seam until it is not visible. For polishing, use a绒布砂轮 or felt wheel, along with the appropriate polishing compound, until the weld seam blends in with the adjacent base material and is no longer noticeable.
Process of Making Stainless Steel Conical Flagpole
With the improvement of people's living standards, flagpoles have evolved from the past wooden and iron materials to stainless steel. Currently, popular flagpoles on the market are divided into two types: conical flagpoles and telescopic flagpoles. As the names suggest, conical flagpoles gradually narrow from the bottom to the top in a cone shape. Telescopic flagpoles, on the other hand, are composed of segmented conical flagpoles. As a flagpole manufacturer, I will briefly explain the production process of stainless steel (conical) flagpoles now.
Firstly, based on the length of the flagstaff produced, sheet metal cutting is performed. The stainless steel materials used are predominantly types 201 and 304, with thicknesses ranging between 2.5mm to 6.0mm. This process requires the use of large-scale shearing machines. During shearing, it can only be slightly longer, not shorter. Cutting into isosceles trapezoids, according to the principles of geometry, when rolled, they become conical.
Next, the bending and rolling process commences, a crucial step where deformation issues may arise. Placing the isosceles trapezoidal sheet on the bending machine and rolling it forms the preliminary shape of the stainless steel flagpole.
Once the initial flag pole shape is formed, it must be seamless welded using tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding techniques. The weld must be gap-free and burr-free, laying the groundwork for the subsequent polishing and finishing process.
4. Polishing and Sanding: This process requires using professional sandpaper to polish and sand the pole. Apply even pressure and continue the sanding until the welded and unwelded areas blend seamlessly, becoming indistinguishable. With this, the flag pole is essentially complete.
5. Flagpole Accessories; after the main shaft of a flagpole is constructed, a flag cap must be installed at the top, and a fixing device with screw threads焊接 at the bottom for easy attachment. The manufacturing of the flange is relatively simple, which involves welding several finger-thick steel bars into a rectangular prism for convenient screw fixation to the bottom of the flagpole.
An不锈钢flag pole (conical) has been created. The production of a telescopic flag pole is similar to that of a conical flag pole, as it is焊接 together from several cylindrical flag poles. The mounting device is the same as that of the conical flag pole.
