Daily Maintenance of Submersible Pumps. Check for any damage to the power cord daily and prohibit the use of submersible pumps with electrical leakage. Inspect the pump body for any damage daily to ensure the motor operates without electrical leakage. After operation, promptly clean any debris attached to the pump and rinse it thoroughly. To ensure the normal operation of the submersible electric pump, it is mandatory to comply with the following requirements. Before using the submersible electric pump, the motor's insulation resistance must be checked with a megohmmeter, with a minimum value of not less than 50MΩ.
The motor should have its water filling plug opened, filled with clean water, and then securely tightened. Do not remove the water filling plug and directly lower it into the well. Before use, inspect the cable for any signs of破裂 or断裂. Replace any damaged cables promptly to prevent electric leakage. Prior to submersible pump immersion, fill the pump with clean water, run it for 1-2 minutes, and start it twice to check for normal operation and correct direction. If the direction is reversed, simply swap any two phase connections. Inspect the suction pipe for cracks and ensure connections are secure. When lowering the submersible pump into the well or lifting it out, never pull the cable forcefully to avoid cable damage or junction breakage, which could lead to unintended accidents. Use a wire or a clamp for lowering and lifting operations.
The power voltage should be maintained within ±5% of the rated voltage to ensure the motor operates normally. If the voltage is too low or too high, the motor should not be continued to be used to prevent damage from long-term operation under overvoltage or undervoltage conditions. Submersible pumps should be suspended vertically when submerged into water, not tilted. The optimal depth of immersion should be 5 meters below the dynamic water level. Submersible pumps should not convey water with high sand content or mud. The actual head lift of the submersible pump should be used within the range of 0.8 to 1.1 times the rated head lift to enhance equipment efficiency, conserve energy, and avoid overloading of the motor.
Submersible pump motors must be properly wired to prevent phase loss and motor burnout. Cables should be regularly inspected for cracks or abrasions, and replaced or repaired promptly. If an oil-immersed motor leaks oil, it should be repaired at the manufacturer or service point, and sealed components replaced. Water-immersed motors should be cleaned of sand particles inside the motor cavity regularly, and the cavity refilled with fresh water. After six months of operation, submersible water pumps should be serviced and inspected, with damaged parts replaced. After use, the water-immersed motor should have its internal fresh water drained, the pump cleaned thoroughly, oiled to prevent rust, and stored vertically in a dry place.
