Polyurethane spraying is increasingly used in roof insulation and building thermal preservation due to its superior thermal insulation and waterproofing properties. Beyond roof applications, it is also employed in fields such as cold storage, medium to large-scale chemical equipment, and grain storage warehouses. However, controlling issues with polyurethane foam spray is challenging, often resulting in uneven cell structure. The composition of polyurethane foam involves two stages: foaming and curing. From the initial mixing of black and white materials to the cessation of foam expansion, this process is called foaming. During foaming, the system releases a significant amount of reaction heat, and during spraying, the uniformity of the cells should be thoroughly considered.

On-site foam spraying operation volume. During the construction process, it is essential to minimize pollution caused by rigid polyurethane foam spraying. Polyurethane materials are ejected in the form of droplets from the spray gun under high pressure. Additionally, the low density of the raw materials, the lightness of the product, and its susceptibility to be carried away by the wind can lead to environmental pollution. During the construction process, attention should be paid to the flatness of the underlayer. Poor flatness of the underlayer walls also results in corresponding material losses.

The principle of polyurethane foaming involves the foaming agent vaporizing upon heating and entering the foam cell, creating a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the cell, which completes the foaming process. Therefore, the content and effective utilization of the foaming agent are also crucial factors in the foaming efficiency.

If using a high-pressure spray gun, place two feed pumps into the drum and then turn on the equipment. Staff members hold the spray gun, applying it like painting, onto the walls or panels that require insulation. Pay special attention to the spray distance and thickness. In case the low-pressure spray gun stops working, ensure proper cleaning. If the equipment has a water tank, use the operational button.
