One: The elevator is unable to close its doors properly.

Possible reasons may include:

1. Door Light curtain: The elevator car's door is equipped with a door light curtain, featuring an emitter rod on one side and a receiver rod on the other. When the elevator door is closing, if an object obstructs the light, the receiver rod fails to detect the emitter rod's light source, triggering the photoelectric relay to activate immediately. The photoelectric relay then controls the door to open in the opposite direction. If the door light curtain rod is obstructed by foreign objects or dust, the door will not close. In this case, the floor instructions inside the car can be illuminated, but the elevator cannot close its doors and will not operate.

2. Door Open/Close Button: When the elevator doors automatically reach the open position, holding down the open door button will keep the doors open for an extended period, allowing passengers to enter and exit the car厢 conveniently. Pressing the close door button will cause the doors to close immediately. Occasionally, the open/close buttons may get stuck inside and not pop out. If the open door button is stuck, it may result in the doors remaining open after the elevator stops without being able to close. A stuck close door button may cause the doors to close immediately after reaching the fully open position upon stopping.

3. Outdoor Call Button: The outdoor call button is used to register the call for the elevator by passengers outside the lobby. Additionally, it also has the function to open the door on the same floor. If the elevator is moving upwards and the up call button is held, the elevator door will remain open for an extended period. (Some elevators are designed to automatically close the door after a certain time.) Occasionally, if the call button is jammed, the elevator may stop on the current floor without closing the door. Alternatively, it may force the door to close after a while and then operate, stopping at the floor for a period each time.

4. If there are foreign objects (such as sand, stones, wooden sticks, cement, etc.) blocking the pit of the car厢 and the door pit, the elevator door will also fail to open and close. Therefore, it is essential to keep the car厢 pit and the door pit clean at all times.

5. If the car's manual mode is in an independent state, the elevator cannot close its doors. Additionally, calls from outside the car cannot be registered, and the elevator cannot be reached from outside.

Note:

When the elevator door does not operate with power, do not pull it shut manually to prevent injury and sudden stops during operation.

Do not press the open/close door buttons, cabin command buttons, or outdoor call buttons during operation, as this may damage the buttons and could lead to elevator malfunctions and prevent operation.

The elevator fails to open normally after it has been parked correctly.

Possible reasons include foreign objects blocking the threshold of the hall or lift doors, causing them to fail to open normally.

Section 3: The elevator fails to start normally after closing its doors.

Possible reasons include the elevator car door or lobby door not being fully closed after the cabin door has closed, resulting in the door lock not engaging and preventing the elevator from operating.

Four: Elevator Suddenly Stops During Operation, Trapping Passengers

In essence, this is what we commonly refer to as an elevator entrapment incident. Due to the随意ness of parking, it's rarely precise enough to stop on a level floor. With most elevators now utilizing microcomputer control, there inevitably is a software system detection function that triggers elevator protection, followed by a software reset (power restored after 10 seconds of power outage), allowing the elevator to resume normal operation.
