The quality of the elevator balance chain is directly related to the safety of elevator use, being the most crucial aspect of elevator operation. Despite the seemingly simple layout of elevator balance chains, they often bypass any testing and are directly released into the market. Such products have three key characteristics:

Lack of flexibility, poor resistance to cold, and the outer layer prone to cracking; once cracked, it undergoes significant shaking.

2. Strength discrepancies, prone to decay, and susceptible to causing chain breakage and tangling. 3. Sharp vibrations during elevator operation result in cabin摇晃 and excessive noise, significantly diminishing the passenger experience.

Are there any special requirements for installing elevator balance chains? The installation of compensating chains varies due to the differences in their layout types. Standard compensating chains, such as rope compensating chains and sheathed compensating chains, have a simpler layout. They are commonly used in low-height, low-speed elevators, so the installation method is also simpler. The two ends of the compensating chain are connected to the car bottom frame and counterweight with suspension devices, and an alignment device consisting of two polyvinyl chloride wheels is set below the counterweight in the pit.

For the full-plastic compensating chain, as it is commonly used in high-speed elevators, the installation method requires more considerations: The two ends of the compensating chain are each connected to the car bottom frame and counterweight. Guide devices are installed in the pit, approximately 1 meter beyond the bend radius of the compensating chain. Each elevator compensating chain has two guide devices, one mounted below the car by a bracket and the other mounted below the counterweight by a bracket. Most compensating chain manufacturers provide matching installation accessories and tools; only by using the correct installation tools and methods can the compensating chain ensure normal operation with the elevator.
