ARLEN is a heat-resistant nylon 6T developed by Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. The PA6T used for electronic components is a modified nylon 6T based on terephthalic acid, adipic acid, and hexamethylene diamine, with a melting point as high as 310°C. The main characteristics of PA6T are excellent high-temperature rigidity, PA10T, dimensional stability, and chemical resistance. Its superior properties make PA6T widely applicable in various fields, including automotive parts, mechanical parts, and electrical components.

PA6T plastic has become a material suitable for almost all industrial electrical engineering, electronic products, and home appliance technology applications, including high-insulation strength switch components and casings, serial connection terminals, power distribution systems, cable conduits and fasteners, outlet and power switches, coils, circuit breakers, variable-speed controllers, and more. For electronic products, this includes electrical and mechanical connectors for plugs, EDP equipment, and communication devices, capacitor casings, and chip carriers. In home appliances, PA6T is mainly used for components, solenoid valves, and the frames of electric tools. For industrial products and consumer goods, PA6T is an ideal material for many products, especially for components that withstand high-temperature mechanical loads. As a functional packaging material (such as food packaging), PA6T plastic also excels. The heat stability of this semi-aromatic copolyamide, with a melting point of 298 degrees Celsius, its rigidity, dimensional stability, and consistent mechanical properties under varying humidity conditions allow it to be used for long periods in high-temperature environments up to 250 degrees.
