The principle of the dredging sand pump: When the sand pump operates, the motor drives the impeller to rotate slowly through a V-belt, reducer, and gears. Sand and gravel enter the washing tank via a feed trough, where they are tumbled and abrade each other under the impeller's action, removing impurities on the surface of the sand and gravel. This also breaks the water vapor layer covering the sand grains, facilitating dehydration. Water is added simultaneously to create a strong water flow, which promptly carries away impurities and lighter foreign objects, and they are discharged from the overflow outlet of the tank, completing the cleaning function of the sand pump. The cleaned sand and gravel are carried away by the blades and poured into the discharge trough from the rotating impeller, thus completing the cleaning process.
