Eco-bags are bags made from non-woven fabric processed from materials like polypropylene (PP) or polyester fiber (PET), featuring waterproof and moisture-resistant properties, non-absorbent to liquids, and non-dissolvable in pollutants. They are primarily used in the construction of flexible ecological slopes.
· In slope engineering, geotextile bags can replace materials like stones and cement, significantly reducing project costs. By adding grass seeds inside the geotextile bags and filling the slope after soil construction, the surface can grow greenery over time, achieving绿化 effects on the excavation slope and forming a natural ecological slope. The bags offer a filtering function that allows water to pass through but not soil, resulting in a slope with high permeability. This slope is highly protective and stabilizing against soil erosion, localized mud (and) rock flows, and slope collapses, making it a high-stability natural slope.
The Eco bags currently do not have a separate specification; they follow the execution standards for geotextiles, with short fibers referring to GB/T 17638-1998 and long fibers to GB/T 17639-2008.
· Common specifications of eco-bags include 810*430, with fabric weight ranging widely, commonly found in 100g, 125g, 150g, etc.
· Volume calculation formula for soil in eco-bags after shaping:
Length = Eco Bag length - (12~15) cm
Width = 0.7 times the width of the biodegradable bags
Height = 0.4 x Eco Bag Height
Example: Bags with an outer diameter specification of 810mm x 430mm will measure approximately 65cm in length, 30cm in width, and 15cm in height after filled with soil (the shaped specifications after filling soil for eco-bags can be customized according to actual requirements. Allowable deviation is up to 2%).
