Aluminized steel tube

Aluminized pipe is a type of tubing that has aluminum applied to the surface of steel or other metal pipes through a specific process, enhancing its corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and wear resistance.
The aluminum coating effectively isolates the steel pipe from contacting corrosive media, thereby enhancing its corrosion resistance. In industries such as chemicals, metallurgy, and power, aluminum-coated pipes are commonly used for manufacturing chemical storage tanks, oil tanks, and containers. Aluminum has a high melting point and forms a dense and stable oxide film in the atmosphere or water, making aluminum-coated pipes excellent for heat resistance. They can be used to produce components for heat exchangers, flue gas dampers, and air preheaters in high-temperature environments. The aluminum coating offers high hardness, ensuring good wear resistance. In applications requiring wear resistance, such as in mechanical and automotive manufacturing, aluminum-coated pipes are widely used. While maintaining the strength of the steel pipe, the overall weight is lighter due to the lower density of aluminum, making them easy to transport and install.
