Sports Flooring Refurbishment and Maintenance Process:
1. Remove all sports equipment from the gym's sports wood flooring and transport it with a cart. Inspect the wood flooring before renovation to determine the extent of wear and whether the subfloor joists are sagging. If there is sagging, repair and sand it first.
2. Sand the wooden flooring using a sander, starting with 40-grit sandpaper for initial sanding to remove most of the surface paint. Then, proceed with 60-grit, 80-grit, and so on, until a smooth and flat surface is achieved. The thickness to be removed depends on the wear of the flooring, typically about 0.5mm is sufficient.
3. Polish the floor with 120-grit sandpaper until a smooth surface is revealed.
4. Mix latex and floor powder to create a putty for smoothing and filling gaps on the floor.
After the putty dries, further sanding of the sports wood flooring should be done with 120 grit sandpaper.
6. Conduct on-site paint mixing, blending sports floor paint in proportion and stirring it until thoroughly mixed.
7. On-site priming painting. Pour the primer into the spray booth for painting, with operators moving at a consistent pace, ensuring even overlap at adjacent joints. Once the primer is dry, the surface is sanded with fine sandpaper and then vacuumed.
8. The surface is painted twice, with the base paint being poured into the dipping equipment for coating. The operator...
Uniform walking speed, even overlap of adjacent seams.
9. Underline as per customer request.
10. Cleaning site in preparation for inspection.
