How should we proceed to reduce the noise of the chain conveyor hoist?
The abnormal noise from the head and tail wheels of the chain conveyor lifting machine is due to poor sealing or lubrication, leading to bearing damage transmitted from the bearing housing. Carefully inspect the condition of the head and tail wheel bearings. If the bearings are damaged, they should be replaced immediately.
The common failure of the conveyor chain lifting machine's bearings is often due to material spillage during operation. Overfilling the hopper causes material to fall out during the lifting process, landing on the bearings and leading to seizing, reduced operability, and other issues. Solution: Immediately replace the bearings and clear any material that has spilled onto the bearing area.
Three, the noise caused by the collision between the bucket and the housing of the chain conveyor hoist, as well as the wear of the drive chain over time, leads to a certain level of tension. If the drive chain is too loose, it causes the conveyor to vibrate up and down during operation, resulting in the buckets randomly hitting the main housing. The solution is to adjust the tensioning device, allowing the chain conveyor hoist to maintain a vertical oscillation gap of approximately 3mm.
Four, the key cause of abnormal noise inside the barrel of the chain conveyor elevator is the fall, damage, or loosening of the hopper. When such conditions are observed, immediate parking and thorough inspection is required to repair the fallen, damaged, or loose hopper. In routine operations, the hopper should be inspected for integrity and the connection with the hopper belt should be verified after every 500 operating hours of the elevator to ensure the stability of the hopper's operation. Additionally, a guardrail should be installed at the discharge point of the chain conveyor elevator to prevent the hopper from falling over and causing damage to other machinery.
Five, the hopper of the chain conveyor elevator falls off and drops into the human body, causing continuous impact with other components during operation, resulting in noise. The solution is to check if the hopper has fallen off or become loose, and replace or tighten it immediately. Due to the long-term operation of the elevator, the internal oil consumption of the reducer increases, and neglecting maintenance can cause noise. The solution is to check and replenish lubricant on a regular basis.
