The system detects the condition of heavy-duty chain conveyor misalignment, tension, temperature, smoke, tearing, and speed through various sensors. Upon detecting a fault, the microcontroller analyzes the collected information and issues commands to control and correct the operation of the heavy-duty chain conveyor, while also triggering alarms and displaying the fault type. The keyboard is used for inputting set parameters, the display shows measured parameters, and also indicates the type of fault alarm.
1. Speed testing and control
The motor's speed is converted into a rectangular pulse signal by the speed sensor, which is then isolated optically and fed into the microcontroller's counter. The actual motor speed is obtained from the counter value, compared to the set speed, and after being adjusted by a PID controller, the microcontroller generates a PWM wave, thereby achieving closed-loop variable frequency speed control of the motor.
2. Deviation Detection and Control
When the conveyor belt drifts off course, the detection device sends a signal to the holding system. The holding system promptly activates the correction motor, which drives the correction mechanism to operate, achieving the goal of alignment.
3. Tension Force Detection and Grip
When the tension sensor detects a tension failure in the conveyor belt, it transmits the detection signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller analyzes the tension or tightness of the heavy-duty chain plate conveyor, adjusting the tension of the conveyor belt by controlling the position of the conveyor's drum.
4. Temperature, smoke detection, and control
When the temperature sensor and smoke sensor detect a fault, the microcontroller reduces water flow by controlling the solenoid valve, thereby lowering the temperature and smoke concentration. In the event of a fault detected in the heavy-duty chain conveyor, the maintenance device first analyzes and adjusts it, and uses the corresponding indicator lights. If, after a certain period, the readings still exceed the initial set values, the maintenance device controls the conveyor belt's speed to ensure a soft start. When the start or emergency stop button is pressed, the maintenance device controls the conveyor belt to either softly start or softly stop.
