This year, we have chosen the ancient city of Luoyang, which boasts a 5,000-year-old civilization and a 1,500-year history of being the capital, as our destination. We are scheduled to embark on September 5th for our joyful cultural team-building journey in China.
After the Minor Heat, the autumn breeze brings a refreshing coolness; the sunlight is bright, and the autumn water is like a mirror. The colleagues on the bus were filled with laughter and joy, chatting all the way as they admired the scenery along the route. In just 8 hours, they arrived at the ancient city of Luoyi.
Stepping into the ancient city of Luoyi feels like stepping through a time tunnel. Every brick and tile here narrates the辉煌 history of Luoyang. Strolling through the ancient streets, admiring the exquisite details of the reconstructed ancient architecture, one can feel the tranquility and simplicity of the era.
At Wenfeng Tower, gazing up at this ancient structure that has withstood the test of time, one can almost hear the echoes of history.
Longtan Grand Canyon is a natural wonder that encompasses canyons, waterfalls, ponds, and unique rocks. Along the way, the gorges and ravines are in sight, the ponds and waterfalls are linked like pearls, the cliffs rise towering, and the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful.
As we stroll along the boardwalk, we marvel at the majestic scenery of the Red Cliff Cliffs and the misty pools of the waterfalls, feeling the wonders and grandeur of nature. Particularly the natural phenomenon of "water flowing uphill."
Even more astonishing, it's as if stepping into a dreamlike world.
Yingtian Gate is the southern gate of the palace city, Zǐwēi City, within the Sui and Tang Luoyang City. It is a massive complex in the shape of a "U" with a gate tower, pavilion, and east-west pavilions connected by corridors. The gate has two levels of observation.
The previous topic was "Purple Microscope"; it features five majestic buildings, resembling five phoenixes, hence the name "Five Phoenix Pavilion."

The following day, we visited the World Cultural Heritage site, the Longmen Grottoes. It is a treasure trove of stone carving art, boasting numerous sculptures and a vast scale in the world.
The Longmen Grottoes are located in the southern suburbs of the ancient capital Luoyang. Here, two mountains confront each other, the Yili River flows in the middle, and the mountain scenery is bathed in the Buddha's radiance, creating a beautiful landscape. It is the "towering gate of two mountains, sharing the grace of a single river" that was depicted by Su Guo of the Song Dynasty, a magnificent wonder of nature.
The Longmen Grottoes are grand in scale and majestic in atmosphere, with exquisite carvings inside. Particularly, the Lushena Buddha is renowned for its enigmatic smile, with a full and round face, wavy hair patterns on the top of his head, and eyebrows curved like crescent moons.
With a pair of eyes slightly focused downward, a gentle smile graces their face, commanding respect without fear.
From the ancient charm of Luoyi Ancient City to the natural wonders of Longtan Grand Canyon, and to the treasure trove of stone carvings at Longmen Grottoes, we have seemingly traversed through thousands of years of history, experiencing the profound and extensive Chinese culture.
