In aquaculture, the micro-perforated aeration technique is often employed. This is a new aquaculture technology designed to increase the oxygen levels in fish ponds to meet the required oxygen proportions for aquaculture. This technology is highly favored by farmers, yet, as a new aquaculture technique, some issues during installation and adjustment may not be easily detected. Below is a brief introduction to the installation steps of micro-perforated aeration oxygenation equipment and the issues to be aware of.
Preparation Work
1. Based on the length of the pond, estimate the amount of microporous tubes needed. Calculate the length of the tubes according to the width of the pond, and then cut and seal one end before proceeding with the installation. Note: Each bundle of microporous tubes is 300 meters long. When cutting, pull from the inner to the outer circle to avoid the tubes from getting tangled.
2. Joints are categorized based on the number of microporous tubes. Each joint consists of a large triple union, a small triple union, a PVC pipe, and two cone heads. The large and small triple unions are connected with a PVC pipe to form a "work" letter shape, with the large triple union used for connecting the main PVC pipe and the ends of the small triple union connected to cone heads for attaching hoses.
3. Place the PVC main pipe end-to-end along the embankment.
Installation Process as Follows
(Part One) Pipeline Installation
1. Attach the PVC pipes placed on the embankment with glue, applying extra glue during the process. Place the two pipes horizontally, push them tightly and then rotate them. This method ensures the entire main pipe is airtight and effectively prevents the joints from falling off due to improper installation.
2. Cut the PVC pipe at the designated positions according to the design plan. Be cautious to avoid the thinner wall at the connection area of the main PVC pipe during the cutting process.
3. Reassemble the pre-prepared joints at the sawn section.
(II) Exhaust Pipe Installation
1. On shore, two bamboo poles are connected with a rope, which is slightly shorter than the pre-divided microporous tubes.
2. At the junction, first securely drive the stakes at both ends of the pond, then use ropes as a reference to firmly set the middle stakes. When driving stakes, use thicker wood stakes at the ends and thin bamboo poles in the middle.
Between the two posts, tie a rope securely, leaving a rope end at the post for binding the microporous tube. When tying the rope, lower the section near the main pipe and raise the section away from the main pipe.
4. Secure the exhaust tube to the rope, ensuring not to apply excessive force during the process. Additionally, the entire microporous tube should be tied into a straight line. The microporous tube must not float in water, as this could affect its performance.
Section III: Power System Installation
1. Select an appropriate location to place the power system, positioning it in the middle section of the supervisor. Ensure the motor is level and securely fastened, and construct a rain and sun protection device above it.
2. From the fan, sequentially connect the steel pipe, gas storage tank (skip the connection if not equipped), steel braided hose, PVC pipe, and tee. Connect the tee to the PVC main pipe. Seal the connection with rubber tape, and then secure it with wire ties to ensure there are no leaks.
How the debugging process is conducted
Power on (note the motor's forward and reverse rotation), adjust the air tube to ensure even air output, and once there are no issues, you can proceed to use it.
