Over time, cables can be dragged and moved, making them susceptible to breakage or damage due to external forces, leading to issues like insulation failure. Inspect cable drums and cables for multiple areas of damage or potential damage due to prolonged use. This requires regular comprehensive inspections of cable drums to prevent potential hazards, even after addressing existing issues.

2. Monitor Protectors

The protectors inside the cable drums also have some points to be aware of. After a period of product use, it's important to conduct inspections and maintenance to ensure they can correctly detect circuit faults and take appropriate power-off measures, to avoid false alarms and power outages.

3. Monitoring Screws

For standard tripod cable drums and U-shaped cable drums, it is advisable to occasionally inspect the bottom structure of the drum. Prolonged exposure to damp or rainy conditions can lead to corrosion of the bottom structure, which may affect normal use.
