The ancient town of Chongren is located in the west of Shengzhou, Zhejiang, with a history of nearly a thousand years. Originally named Xinghuacun, during the Xining period of the Northern Song Dynasty, the Yi Men Qiu family, who was enfeoffed by the emperor, moved from Wuzhou to this area. The Qiu family, valuing benevolence and righteousness, named the place Chongren. Since the Southern Song Dynasty, many talented individuals have emerged, with the Qiu family alone producing 4 graduates of the imperial examinations, 38 candidates, and dozens of officials.
