1. "Corrosion-resistant." Corrosion refers to the process where the surface is damaged under the action of a medium. If the surface is damaged in this way, the sealability cannot be guaranteed, thus, the sealing surface material must be corrosion-resistant. The corrosion resistance of the material mainly depends on its composition and properties.

Therefore, corrosion resistance is also one of the important requirements for the material of the sealing surface.
4. It should possess a certain hardness and exhibit a significant decrease in hardness at the specified working temperature.
5. The linear thermal expansion coefficient of the sealing face and the main body material should be approximately similar, which is more important for the structure of the镶嵌sealing ring to prevent the occurrence of additional stress and loosening at high temperatures.
Under high-temperature conditions, sufficient antioxidant, heat fatigue resistance, and thermal cycling properties are required.
