Generally, due to the varying circumstances of each laboratory under review, there are no mandatory requirements for the quantity and ratio of on-site testing projects. The general practice is to cover all aspects, which includes methods such as blind sample assessment, witnessed testing, comparative testing, retained sample retesting, and operational demonstration. Projects that have participated in proficiency testing, measurement audits, and inter-laboratory comparisons are typically exempt from on-site assessment.

Overall requirements are: Cover all methods, equipment, personnel, etc. In the on-site audit, the selection of on-site testing projects should consider the following points:

— Aim to cover all testing fields of the laboratory;

— Principles of coverage and declaration methods, main standards, and typical parameters.
