The electronic speedometer is gradually being promoted, which does not use a flexible shaft but instead installs a pulse generator on the transmission output shaft. The electronic speedometer appears to be more rational than the previous mechanical electromagnetic type, as it does not require a flexible shaft for transmission. However, due to the lower cost of the mechanical electromagnetic type, it is still widely used in today's automobiles.
