BoilerExhaustMuffler Uses and Product Features:
The noise emitted from steam exhausts of thermal equipment, such as boiler steam emissions, significantly exceeds the values stipulated by China's "Hygiene Standard for Industrial Enterprise Noise." In response, our factory's boiler steam exhaust muffler series is primarily designed for effective noise reduction of steam exhausts from boilers and steam turbines in industrial sectors like power generation, chemical, metallurgy, and textile industries. This series of boiler steam exhaust silencers is developed based on the composite noise reduction principle of resistance, jet, and obstruction, featuring large noise reduction, compact size, light weight, and easy installation. Depending on different applications, there are several forms available.:
Boiler Ignition Exhaust Muffler (TB) Type
To suppress the noise from high-pressure gas flow emissions, various types of mufflers are currently available worldwide. Most of these mufflers operate on the principle of multi-stage throttling to reduce pressure. However, due to their complex structure, heavy weight, and difficulty in disassembly for maintenance, their application scope has been limited. This new design of muffler overcomes these drawbacks.
The exhaust silencer for this type of boiler is designed by integrating reasonable noise reduction principles. After high-pressure steam is once controlled in the exhaust silencer, it enters the pressure-reducing chamber, where it is expanded in a large volume, forming low-pressure steam that is then ejected. During this process, a portion of the steam's internal energy is converted into sound energy of certain frequencies. Although the noise power is greatly reduced, it often remains above the standard value due to various reasons such as the exhaust deviating from the design value. To address this, a double-layered sound-insulating hood is designed outside the pressure-reducing chamber, tailored to the spectral characteristics of the residual noise emitted by the chamber, to effectively absorb the remaining noise. After the user installs it according to specifications, the total noise reduction should reach 36 to 45 decibels.
Boiler Safety Valve Muffler (TA Type)
It is well-known that for safety valves of boilers and other thermal devices, the exhaust steam should avoid excessive noise and ensure smooth flow. Therefore, the commonly used multi-stage throttling and small-hole injection for noise reduction should be avoided. This limitation has always been a design challenge for the exhaust noise suppressors of safety valves, and also a reason for their poor noise reduction performance. The boiler safety valve noise suppressor also adopts the noise reduction principle of resistance, injection, and obstruction, where a large-hole expansion replaces the smaller diameter control flow holes, structurally enhancing the resistance, injection, and obstruction noise reduction mechanisms, achieving ideal noise reduction effects.
Low-Pressure Boiler Steam Muffler (TD Model)
Numerous industrial and mining enterprises utilize a substantial number of low-pressure boilers with pressures of 1.6 MPa or less. In power plant thermal systems, there are also large quantities of low-pressure thermal equipment, such as back-pressure turbines, deaerators, auxiliary gas blowers, turbine oil pumps, continuous blowdown from boilers, and regular blowdown expansion tanks, among others. These equipment's exhaust pipes require the installation of noise suppressors that are structurally lightweight and easier to install. Our factory, catering to different noise reduction needs, has designed a series of deaerators, back-pressure turbines, and other product lines to meet customer requirements.
The above steam exhaust muffler meets the requirements of the "Noise Hygiene Standards for Industrial Enterprises" and has been widely applied domestically.
