Woodworking dust extraction requires three key components: the pipeline system, the fan system, and the filtration system. Within these systems, the structures and functions vary with different configurations, but the basic principles are the same, much like wearing a mask. The pipeline connects the woodworking machinery to the filtration system, and the fan operates to create negative pressure within the pipeline for dust collection. The most critical aspects are the fan configuration and the performance of the filtration bags.
The fan configuration is calculated based on the number and arrangement of machines in the production workshop, which requires professional personnel to calculate the configuration. This ensures that the air volume at each machine's filtration interface is consistent, allowing for effective dust removal. The dust removal filter bags should be selected according to different environments, as the nature of the dust produced in different woodworking workshops varies.
Airflow containing wood chip particles is transported to the guide tank of the bag filter through a fan. Under the action of the guide plate, the airflow speed decreases, and the heavier wood chip particles fall into the ash tank under the force of gravity. The lighter, finer dust particles are carried upwards by the airflow and adhere to the outer surface of the filter bags. After passing through the bag filter, the clean gas enters the exhaust chamber and is discharged outside. As the filtration process continues, an increasing amount of dust accumulates on the outer surface of the filter bags, which consequently increases the system's operating resistance and reduces its dust removal efficiency. To address this, the system is equipped with an automatic pulse cleaning device, consisting of a pulse controller, pulse valve, solenoid, steam drum, and spray tube. Based on the characteristics of the wood chip particles, the pulse amplitude and frequency can be set on the pulse controller. Once the pulse amplitude and frequency are set, during operation, the system automatically cleans the filter bags, significantly enhancing the filtration efficiency and extending the lifespan of the filter bags.
