The difference between burglar-proof doors and fire-resistant doors lies in their primary functions. Burglar-proof doors excel in their anti-pounding and airtight performance, typically requiring a key to unlock from the outside after closing. The filling inside the door panel is not fire-resistant material. While fire-resistant doors are also made of steel, the filling inside the door panel is fire-resistant material, and there are different thickness requirements for the steel plate. Steel doors, or common steel doors, do have some level of burglar-proofing but have poor anti-pounding performance. Most street-side workshops produce this type.
