Tangshan Tianlian Cement Products Factory: Introducing Reinforced Concrete Pipe with Steel Socket. Contact: 13931502188
Reinforced concrete pipe jacking is a type of drainage pipe made from materials such as cement, steel bars, sand, and gravel, which are mixed and formed into shape by a centrifugal mixer. It is primarily used for tasks like urban rainwater, wastewater, or agricultural drainage. This method is a non-excavation technique for laying underground pipelines, involving the excavation of two operation wells at both ends, followed by the jacking of the pipe from one well to the other. However, it's not directly pushed into the ground; instead, a machine head is used to bore a hole ahead of the pipe, while simultaneously pushing the pipe into place. The soil produced from boring is then transported out through a mud and water circuit connected to the machine head, where it is converted into mudwater as water is pumped in, and then removed to the surface. After the pipeline is connected, the opening of the operation wells is reduced and covered with a manhole cover, turning it into a future inspection well. Its advantages lie in its minimal impact on the surrounding environment, small construction site, and low noise. Moreover, it allows for deep underground work, an advantage not achievable with excavation pipe laying. However, the disadvantages of pipe jacking include longer construction time and higher project costs.
