The LS screw conveyor features include: simple structure, small cross-sectional dimensions, good sealing, reliable operation, low manufacturing cost, easy for intermediate loading and unloading, reversible conveying direction, and capability for simultaneous opposite-direction conveying. During the conveying process, materials can be mixed, blended, heated, and cooled. Material flow can be adjusted through loading and unloading gates, but it is not suitable for materials that are prone to spoilage, highly adhesive, easily caking, or large in size, as they are prone to breakage during conveying. The spiral and feed trough are susceptible to wear. It has a high power per unit. It is essential to maintain the seal of the feed trough and ensure there is an appropriate gap between the spiral and the feed trough during use.
