How is the wind speed and volume detection conducted in Wuhan's cleanroom? As follows:
(1) The use of a hot-wire anemometer to measure wind speed is a commonly employed method. Generally, hot-wire anemometers are highly sensitive but less stable. Before measurement, the zero point of the anemometer should be calibrated; during calibration, the probe should be in a windless state; the windward side of the probe should be perpendicular to the wind direction; wait for the display to stabilize before reading; be cautious to prevent the anemometer probe from hitting other objects.
(2) Measure wind speed with a vane anemometer. The rotating shaft of a vane anemometer has some friction, which is why early models were less sensitive and not preferred by users. With technological advancements, vane anemometers have become more sensitive and gained wider usage. When using a vane anemometer to measure wind speed, note the following: Check the anemometer's appearance and operational status; verify the normality of the rotating shaft friction; identify the air flow direction when measuring; ensure the measurement is conducted within the pipeline; wait for the display to stabilize before beginning to read the values.
(3) Wind speed is measured using a pitot tube in conjunction with a micromanometer. Static and total pressures are measured using a standard pitot tube and micromanometer, and dynamic pressure is calculated from these. Wind speed is then determined from the dynamic pressure. Generally, wind speeds measured with a standard pitot tube are more reliable. The standard wind speed in a wind tunnel is measured using a standard pitot tube and micromanometer. However, this method is cumbersome and requires a sensitive and accurate micromanometer. When using a pitot tube to measure wind speed, the following points should be noted: check for damage to the standard pitot tube's intake; ensure the standard pitot tube is not clogged; verify that the pipeline connecting to the pitot tube is clear; check if the micromanometer display is normal; and position the standard pitot tube correctly.
