To inspect the quality of pipeline installation, hydrostatic testing must be conducted according to the "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Water Supply and Drainage Pipeline Projects." Water pressure tests are to be implemented. The allowable leakage rate can be determined according to the standards for glass fiber reinforced steel pipes. Since double "O" type seals are used for the connection of glass steel pipes, each pipe installation requires pressure testing at the socket to verify the sealing effect of the double "O" type seals. The pressure testing pump is directly applied through the pressure test hole at the top of the pipe. After adding water and pressurizing to 1.5 times the working pressure of the pipeline, stop the pump (open the drain valve to exhaust air during the process), and observe for 2 minutes. If the pressure drop does not exceed 5% of the test pressure and there is no leakage at the pipe end, the pressure test at the pipe end is considered passed. If the pressure drop is significantly quick, it indicates poor sealing performance, and the installation must be redone to ensure overall success of the system pressure test. The radial deflection value must be checked first during installation.
