The European style, originating from ancient Greece and Athens, flourished during the Roman Empire. Due to the wars between the Roman and Ottoman Empires, Italians profited from the business opportunities, and under the historical conditions, interior decoration also spread to Italy, later extending to some Mediterranean countries. In subsequent history, the Spanish invaded various European countries, including Italy. The Spanish took a great interest in the architecture of the Italians at the time and began to imitate the European style buildings in their own country. Since then, German architecture has also featured Northern European styles, and France introduced Baroque and Rococo.
