● Characteristics and Applications of 304LN

Compared to 304L steel, 304LN adds N to enhance the high-strength properties and particle-boundary corrosion resistance of structural components. Applications of 304LN stainless steel: structural use, chemical material transport ships.

● Chemical Composition of 304LN:

Carbon (C): ≤0.03

Manganese (Mn): ≤2.00

Silicon (Si): ≤0.75

Chromium (Cr): 18.0~20.0

Nickel (Ni②): 8.0~10.5

Phosphorus P: ≤0.045

Sulfur: ≤0.03

Nitrogen (N): 0.10~0.16

Note: ① All single values are high values unless otherwise specified; ② When used in certain tube-making processes, the nickel content of some grades of austenitic stainless steel must be slightly higher than the values shown in the table; ③ At will; ④ Titanium content is 0.10%; ⑤ Content is 0.75%; ⑥ Content is 0.70%.
