Active Alumina Adsorbent is a special-structured aluminum oxide produced through a unique process, which is non-toxic, tasteless, and odorless, appearing as fine white sand. It boasts high chemical purity, strong adsorption capability, fast solution permeation rate, excellent decolorization effect, and a long service life. It has strong hygroscopicity in air, remains stable after absorbing moisture, and can be restored by drying at 110°C. It is insoluble in water and organic solvents, but dissolves in solutions of strong acids and alkalis at high temperatures.
Main Application of Activated Alumina Adsorbent:
1. Refining oil products to remove aromatic substances and gases, as well as selective adsorption and separation of liquids; 2. Used as a carrier for chromatography in the chemical industry, specifically for catalyst carriers.
3. Used for the separation and purification of ingredients, such as taxol, artemisinin, tea polyphenols, lohanoside, dragon's blood, puerarin, ginkgoflavone, andrographolide, resveratrol, huperzine A, etc.
