In modern logistics systems, wooden box packaging is a necessary condition for industrial products to enter the distribution field. To maintain the integrity of industrial products during the logistics process, it is essential to scientifically package the products themselves and avoid the impact of various external adverse factors. During transportation, due to different destinations, the requirements for wooden box packaging also vary. The packaging for exported goods is referred to as export wooden boxes. It is required to have a sturdy structure and reasonable protective design to prevent damage to the goods and facilitate handling and improve transportation efficiency. However, since export wooden boxes involve multiple transportation stages, long routes, and varying transportation, loading conditions, and regional climate differences, the requirements for their packaging are more stringent.

The standard wooden box is a general term for wooden boxes used for domestic transportation and storage. There are no strict standards for their manufacturing process or materials, and they are mostly used for one-time shipments. The quality is typically tailored to the customer's specific requirements for the wooden boxes. Higher-quality boxes are made from pine wood and faced plywood, featuring attractive appearances, strong load-bearing capacity, and resistance to deformation and mold. However, these are more expensive. Some products have little inherent value, and when it comes to wooden box packaging, there is often a demand for low prices. As a result, some manufacturers opt for scrap materials and substandard boards to produce wooden boxes. While the quality of these boxes is questionable and there are risks involved in transportation, they can still be used.

Export wooden boxes refer to packaging wooden boxes that meet export requirements. These boxes must comply with specific requirements to pass inspection and be allowed for export. Different countries have varying requirements for packaging wooden boxes. Export wooden boxes are generally categorized into two types: 1. Solid wood boxes made from natural logs, which are then heat-treated and stamped with the IPPC mark, accompanied by a formal heat treatment certificate, meeting the ISPM-15 standard and suitable for export. 2. Non-sterilized export wooden boxes constructed with LVL lumber as the frame and plywood as the body, made from various wood residues that have been processed under high temperature, offering high compressive and load-bearing properties while avoiding the drawbacks of traditional wooden boxes such as knots, wormholes, color variations, and high temperatures.
