Rubber Waterstop Strip

Rubber waterstop strips are waterproof sealing materials made from rubber, featuring an expansion property when exposed to water, and are extensively used in concrete construction joints for projects such as civil air defense, subway, tunnels, and wastewater treatment plants [1] [3]. The material is categorized into three types: putty-type, product-type, and self-adhesive strips. The putty-type combines elasticity and waterstop expansion functions, accommodating joint deformation; the product-type is pressure-resistant and corrosion-resistant, commonly used in shield tunnel joints and building deformation joints; while the self-adhesive strips achieve direct bonding with concrete through butyl rubber.
