A mud scraper is a commonly used desilting equipment. Within a mud scraper, it boasts strong versatility, composed of the main scraper assembly, working bridge, driving unit, central turntable, and collecting device, among other components. During its operation, the mud scraper exhibits great versatility and can be used in both urban sewage treatment plants and water supply treatment. When operating the mud scraper, the following precautions should be taken:


1. Inspect the condition of the walking wheel for transfer. If the rubber is severely cracked or worn, stop and repair immediately, replacing the wheel. Regularly check the electrical equipment's operational status inside the distribution box, ensuring no wind noise or poor contact issues.


2. Regularly monitor and record values such as current and voltage, ensuring the current meter reading does not exceed the motor's rated current and there are no abnormal fluctuations. Keep the surroundings clean and free of debris, and no large pieces of debris should fall into the pool. After a winter snowfall, promptly clear the area.


3. Operators must not exceed the specified number, and the temperature of the motor and reducer shafts must not exceed the designated limits. Additionally, maintenance personnel must wear safety belts while working on the machine.


Simultaneously, after an abrupt stop of the sludge scraper, the inlet valve of the sludge lock room must be immediately opened until all sludge is fully discharged. Only then should the machine be restarted to prevent motor overload and burnout.


Drive-on mud scraper upgraded:


1. On the trolley, an additional stopper is installed on the side without the limit stopper on the track. The specifications of the sludge scraper for the secondary sedimentation tank are enhanced. Two additional travel switches are added to the trolley. By utilizing the strong programming capabilities of the PLC, the travel switches first stop the motor on one side of the stopper, then, only when the other side encounters its corresponding stopper, both motors reverse simultaneously, initiating the return journey of the trolley. This ensures that the trolley performs a parallel alignment at the end of each travel. Additionally, an over-travel protection is included to prevent damage to the track due to prolonged slippage at the track joints. The modification has improved sensitivity and reliability, ensuring accurate and timely direction changes.


2. Adjust track precision and straightness, re-weld and grind the track, reduce track joint gaps, and minimize slippage and jamming. Adjust the precision of the walking wheel shafts, replace worn-out shafts, and improve the coaxiality of all shafts.


3. Add pressure chain wheels to the reducer chain, adjust tension, improve synchronization rate, process mud scraper for secondary sedimentation tank as per provided drawing, and replace chains in a timely manner.


4. Install the pump pipe with shock absorption to minimize wear.


5. To reduce failure rates, the original liquid submersible sludge pump was converted to a submersible污水 pump, enhancing the equipment's reliability and ensuring normal operation of the return flow.


Sewage sludge scrapers are applicable to the primary and secondary sedimentation tanks of trickling filter wastewater treatment plants, various circular sludge thickening ponds for scraping and discharging sludge, horizontal flow sedimentation tanks, as well as those with opposite and same-directional flows, and grit chambers, offering excellent scraping and discharging performance.
